Character Traits and Point of View
When we read, we should think about the characters' traits and their point of view about what is going on. A character trait is who the character is on the inside. We watch for their actions and think about what that tells us. Their point of view is their opinion on what is happening.
We work on comparing and contrasting different character's traits and/or points of view. We also learn how to compare a character from the beginning of the story to the end of the story since characters often change.
